To foster cost effective quality purchases of goods and services to University customers, by utilizing the expertise of all staff involved with purchasing throughout the University and by employing innovative methods in contract negotiations and group buying initiatives.

Procurement Services provides value-added, customer focused services and support through the development of contemporary purchasing programs and focused contract negotiations. These activities incorporate enhanced economies of scale purchases within the University and externally with other organizations, supplier partnerships, and the collective expertise of all staff involved in purchasing throughout the University. Procurement Services provides leadership and direction to ensure optimal procurement at the local level.
